Bellcranks & Servo Savers
(23 products)
How do R/C vehicles turn? Good question. An electric servo receives a signal and rotates, moving linkage that in turn steers your vehicle. An integral part of this equation is the servo saver and it does just that, save your servo from stripped gears. The servo saver is equipped with a tension spring inside of a type of disc system. Any sudden hard jolts and the spring allows the wheels to move without fighting against the servo itself, which would result in stripped servo gears. The server works in conjunction with the steering system. Many times, the steering is bellcrank style instead of direct. Bellcrank can offer a mechanical advantage and many times is preferable when size and linkage replacement is a concern.
